Hello guys,

I launched new business in London. Internet Cafe open 24 hours.

But at least 6 months we haven't got a profit

We are in prime location, Kensington, London.

Any advice?

Many thanks.

Thanks,

Coffee Republic also did not make a profit in the first 6 months.....

Aim for break even in year 1 and anything over that is a bonus!

Welcome aboard

Took me 4 years to break profit, so don't listen to me

Market market market! Tell the world where you are, or at least you're immediate neighbours. Print those flyers and pound the streets...

When I was young I used to visit one specific internet cafe almost every day. That was when I fell in love with computers, online reality and the internet . And the reason I attended on a daily basis was because, they had almost 30 computers there, with lots of features (games, cheap but fast internet connection, friendly staff). Having so many computers meant that you were not only using those computers (you can do that at home) but you could make friends by building relationships as well. And last but not the least, because all my friends were there. So after awhile it became a habit , for which I'm very thankful right now.
So maybe you should try to concentrate on the younger generation, right now I don't really have idea how to do this... but if anything comes in my mind I will let you know.

Thanks,
Elisabeth

ahh, yes... know I remember . At the time we used mIRC for chatting. There were different chat channels for special subjects like: hip-hop music lovers, little scientists, gamers, etc... where we could chat with people from different places or even countries. And meetings were organised for mIRC fans in each year by that specific internet cafe. I loved those years

Thanks,
Elisabeth

It's hard to know what to say really because I don't know hard far you are off making a profit. Just Look at competition and copy what they do well and improve on what they are not so strong at.
