Google+ gets a facelift 23rd May 2012 12:07 PM
Personally, I feel that all these SNS's have the urge to get better than the other in one way or another. Don't you think? The timeline could be responsible for this face lift, i feel.

Do you mean facebook timeline? If you are talking about that then would agree that it does feel it was somewhat responsible for the facelift.
Twitter not for me? 16th May 2012 1:17 PM
I feel that Twitter marketing needs careful planning because it's hard to simplify your thoughts into 140 characters. However, there are so many companies who have really made great efforts in making their campaigns work. One example is Uniqlo. Check out their campaigns and be amazed by how something so simple can be super effective.

Might check it out. Do people really look at promoted tweets? Wonder what the ROI for promoted tweets especially now big brands are investing so much money into it.
ipod touch vs iphone 11th May 2012 4:58 PM
Depends what you are going to do with it. If your not going to really make calls then get the ipod touch. The new ipod is supposed to do almost everything the iphone does expect make calls. If you are in a place where there is free wi-fi then with a few applications you can make calls me thinks
Friday Joke 11th May 2012 4:53 PM
Not been keeping up with the Friday Joke as much as I should but I should say this is a decent one Steve. Just shows that sometimes we look for the complicated answers and miss the obvious.
The best way to set up your email (provider limitations permitting) is IMAP, this allows for synchronising between the email accounts and any sub folders, changes on one PC will be replicated to the others.
Try to avoid POP if possible, it's an old and less reliable protocol for mail delivery.
If you cannot have IMAP from your current provider and you still want to have e- mail properly synchronised across your PCs, then condiser getting a hosted exchange account, this will provide business class e-mail that will be able to handle more advcanced features such as secure mail and calander sync, extremely cheap as well, worth considering since if you don't leave copies of your mails on the server, then a crash could potentially leave you without any e-mail history!!

Most of the exchange accounts we have are 25gigs so you almost never have to delete anything... ever!

Nice tips.
Do Macs get Virus's? 10th May 2012 2:16 PM
Every computer has the ability to download software that would render it completely useless. Whether or not this would be considered a "virus" is up for debate.

True. Malicious software a more appropriate term?
Do Macs get Virus's? 4th May 2012 5:16 PM
Personally use both Mac and PC. Not a expert on this but do think Macs get viruses but it must be on a small scale that doesn't really get reported that much. I don't get normally viruses on my personally PC mainly because I try to take the necessary precautions.

Know of a number of Mac users who do not use antivirus because they feel they don't need to because they are using a Mac, personally not experience any virus problems at all on a Mac but chose to use antivirus on it.
Yes a continuation of return of high valuation internet/software/social network floats.
Not spotted this but generally not a big fan of new window pops up even for geniune sites (online banking login etc); rather just have a new tab come up.

Do agree with not liking ads following on every site you visit once you've looked a particular product or service though do understand the reason behind it.
