ipod touch vs iphone

I've heard that the latest iPod touch is fully capable of making phone calls and text messages with 3rd party applications, so which is better, ipod touch or iphone, If I don't need a mobile for computing?

I am iPhone biased

There is just so much more you can do with an iPhone than you could with an iPod. But, as you said, you don't need a mobile for computing, so maybe budget wise, an iPod might be better.

Depends what you are going to do with it. If your not going to really make calls then get the ipod touch. The new ipod is supposed to do almost everything the iphone does expect make calls. If you are in a place where there is free wi-fi then with a few applications you can make calls me thinks

I suggest Ipod is much better for you, its in cheap price compare to Iphone..
