An old thread yes! but..

Steve, just to pick up on the above on our Virtual Private Cloud.. We're put the launch date back to Jan/Feb 2011, mainly due to the speed at which some of the other services have shot up, exchange primarily.

Also because we just wanted to develop it to a slightly higher level pre launch and not do an Apple, and have our first adopters pay to develop the solution.

We've got a number of beta testers using the solution and it's brilliant but we want to do some more work on the config tool.

Cheers
No the servers hosting the site are about as fast as they can be..

This actually turned out to be a temporary thing. It was never explained but is back to normal now!

Probably a jealous competitor lol
iPad - Good or bad, your thoughts 29th October 2010 11:17 PM
I have been looking at geting an iPad but recently read a number of bad reviews about them basically looking pretty, but lacking in real productivity capabilities, e.g. USB, support of external storage and a wide range of other issues.

What are your opinions? Experiences with the mighty iPad?

Got a smile on my face as I type as after about 5 weeks I've got 10 minutes to catch up on my favourite forum.

It's been a crazy few weeks working like a maniac with Microsft on our hosted exchange platform. Well worth it though as last week Cloud4 became one of only 5-6 companies in the UK, accredited by Microsoft to roll out Hosted Exchange 2010. Launch day is 11th November but the hard work is done now so I can spend a bit more time getting back into MLF life again.

I'll be catching up with all the recent threads and of course throwing my tuppence worth in too

Win 7 Pro is brilliant, I would upgrade from the dog of Vista immediately, but as Steve says I would do a full clean install.

Though unlike previous MS upgrade nightmares, we do upgrades every day and with win 7 it just works, In fact it first analises your system and tells you exactly which drivers you ned to have before upgrading. then you go get them and upgrade.

Just do it you want look back 7 is the best OS microsoft have ever done, and lets face it after vista it had to be!
UK Economy to slow over the Winter 20th October 2010 12:27 AM
You are right Ryan, It will not be "that bad" for those who decide to roll over and die. THe rest of us will do the british thing and fight the good fight!

There is a simply way to beat a recession, Get your sales strategy right and win MORE customers. If each customer you have will have a reduced capacity to spend, then define your USP's, market and strategy and go win more of them!

Simples!
