I used to have a Pinterest account but I deleted it. It was not at all useful to my business. Most of its users are women who are into arts and fashion. :/

I think it depends on what kind of business you are running. However, whether their job requires them to be online or not, it would still be best if you inform them of your plan to monitor their online activities.

With the many differing views on breakfast meetings, I might have to attend one to experience it myself. Hope I don't get pitched to death! *crossesfingers*

It helps to plan out the posts that you make everyday. Do not bombard your followers or fans with tweets about how great your product is. Rather, post something related to your products and then post updates about your product (e.g. campaigns, announcements,etc.) from time to time.

I think that depends on your son's personality as a learner. If your son is an auditory learner, he might not enjoy or learn something from online schooling as there are no lectures or personal interaction involved in it. If your son is a read-write learner, meaning he prefers getting information from what he reads, enrolling in an online school would be a good choice.

If you are still a starting entrepreneur with a small budget for advertising, you probably want to use social networking sites. They're free and can reach a lot of potential customers.

I feel that Twitter marketing needs careful planning because it's hard to simplify your thoughts into 140 characters. However, there are so many companies who have really made great efforts in making their campaigns work. One example is Uniqlo. Check out their campaigns and be amazed by how something so simple can be super effective.

I would rather send link requests manually than use the site you suggested. Doing the former is much more fulfilling and has better chances of getting a positive response from potential clients.
