Quicker Rankings Using YouTube? 3rd April 2013 9:26 AM
Hey Barney,

Yeh, the comments are quite wacky that's for sure but that is just someone who likes the video and nothing else.

The video is the killer draw here and it is astonishing how many enquires i've had in such a short space of time. I've also been told by the company that has done the rankings that there are things that they can do to maintain these rankings but again that's down to money but i don't have a problem paying it now as firstly it's brought me good business in and secondly they've done exactly what they said they would and there's not too many seo companies that have done that for me i can tell you.

I'm not one for promoting other peoples work but i couldn't resist with this one. Ok, i started a company not too long ago which is based in London. It is a locksmiths business to which there was stacks of competition i was up against. I contacted a friend of mine which knew loads about SEO and he pointed me to a company called Think Sketch Limited. This company helped me understand a little bit more about SEO than what i already knew and i couldn't believe what they did for me. They got me page 1 rankings for my chosen keyword in less than 1 week which i'm not great with SEO but i thought i was astonishing. My video is still on the 1st page now and it's brought me a lot of business through the door.

If you would like me to send you their link then please PM me a i don't want to post it here as i don't want to be accused of spamming.
Google+ Local is the perfect free way to promote your business and SEO companies would've been tearing their hair out when this came about. Did you know that there are ways in which you can manipulate the rankings of your placement?

You say you've got a fanpage? How many people are you friends with?

There is little point in having a FB page if you don't get many people on there. My advice would be to get a circle of friends that you can get to visit your page on a regular basis then this should work quite well but again the more people that know about your page the better so do whatever you can to get people to your site.

Are you a comic?
I'm not using this as promotion as i'm new here but have you tried ranking a video? I signed up with a company Think Sketch Limited (please delete if i'm not allowed) and they got me on the first page of Google within 1 week for my chosen keyword.

I didn't think at the time that it would make a difference to my traffic to my main site but it's worked wonders. They told me that YouTube videos rank so much quicker than a normal website due to the fact that Google bought YouTube and they prioritize these videos.
Have some adverts had their day? 28th March 2013 3:35 PM
For sure like everything something new comes along and changes the way in which things work. I love your reference to that old image as if you would look at that now you'd probably get laughed at. The only thing that gets my attention these days is the word FREE.
This to be fair is an absolute disgrace and i hope that they punish the people involved with big jail sentences. I'm not against the fact that it's horse meat as let's face it none of us could tell but it's the fact that they are claiming it to be beef that's the problem.

It made me laugh when those 2 lads dressed up as a horse and went into their local Tesco and started talking to the burgers LOL check it out on YouTube.

Social media is the best place to advertise for free. Other that that stick with forums etc.

To be fair it all depends on what you're promoting?
