“see Linux/Unix is all well and good for web servers and running databases, and IIS should never be allowed past the firewall, but not convinced its there yet as a serious alternative for M$.
If you have techie/geek users its fine, but your average business user wants familarity, ease of use, which is what we had with XP and Office 2003.
Just frustrating they seem to have gone back to the bad old days of pumping out new products like a sausage factory

Office users should stick with windows, as they will be already trained on it. Our company has websites running on IIS, we don't have any problems. Linux is open source so you can have security issues unless you get a vendor flavour like redhat.
