which keywords do you think you'd like to rank on Google page 1 for and where are you currently ranking for this keyword?

until a few weeks ago if you typed in carpet cleaning coventry we were either 1st or 2nd place on the front page under local listings, with our natural listing a couple of places below.
now we are something like page 14 on local listings.
tried steves seo tool that checks various things and it says we dont have any pages indexed by google .
also shows up a quite a few errors but i have no idea how to get into the problems to solve them.

Hmm, i'm seeing you at Google No. 1 for that phrase, but the Google Places local listings are all piled above you and you dont have a listing in that bunch.

PM me tomorrow and i'll tell you how you might be able to improve your local listing.

Can I ask for some advice on ranking myself higher on the current larger search engines .. If you need refal to what I have done already please refer to the introduction section.

I look forward to the advice

you need to first get yourwebsite meta tags, meta descriptions and also ensure key words are in the text of your website.this is a good place to start.Best of luck

Hi,

You need to do complete optimization for your website(onsite and offsite optimization both). Make your target keywords with the help of wordtracker or Google Adwords and then optimize your target keyword. There are several process in that like directory submission, article posting, blog comments, forum posting, social media optimization and many more.

Thanks

i would too as we dont seem to ranking at all at the minute

You have a number of basic issues that really need to be resolved. Not least - why does your link www. fitz2kleen. com click through to http://fitz2kleen.com/default.aspx]
Very bad practice and this approach will hinder your seo efforts.

Yeah truly, that's the best practice to not only to increase traffic on your site, but also to up-rank your site in search engines like Google, Bing and yahoo. One more thing is that your content for submissions must be unique and attractive offering what your customers or target audiences do really want.

Seriously, you need to address these basic issues first. Easily put right, and likely to have an immediate impact on rankings.

Treena already ranks No. 1 in search results (SEO) for her main keyword.
