Just released in SZ (China). New iPad clones run Android 2.2 / Windows 7 with "decent" hardware equal to iPad, supporting Flash 10.1 and multitasking.
8" Android 2.2 aPad - 1GHz Cortex A8 Processor - 512MB DDR2
10.1" Windows 7 ePad - 1.66GHz Atom N455 - 2GB DDR3 - 32GB SSD
Any reviews, discussion on those? I have laid my money down and waiting for the courier to show up. Been burnt before and not holding my breath, but as an ebook reader and wifi surfer?
Or you could just get an ipad!
Yeah, I think I'd do that in this situation.. DynaShop
hmmm...linked site is suspicious -- according to google. but my vote is on Apple iPad. -- as for the other brand, wait a while for it to mature.
“hmmm...linked site is suspicious -- according to google. but my vote is on Apple iPad. -- as for the other brand, wait a while for it to mature.” yup, not the best form of e-commerce marketing ![]() Removed the link. I think we will see some interesting Android alternatives, but the iPad was first to market, has brand kudos and a loyal following. Which seems to more than make up for all of its short comings...
You might look at the spec of the android tablet and think it's spec is lower, but then a Mazda RX8 has a 1.3 ltr engine, yet it outperforms many more powerful rivals. When it comes down to it, apple use lower spec stuff properly, to its full potential, leaving windows far behind, wrecklessly racking up resources willy nilly. Thanks, theflyerexpert |
