have you considered the Dell Inspiron Duo flip screen thing? I have no reason to promote this, not have I tried it, but it looks a good idea - but read some reviews of course! nickora
It depends on what you want and how what sort of work your going to be doing. If its just some emails, some work documents and a bit of skype etc you could get away with even buying a cheap netbook. If you want some more hardware taxing the route might need to be a laptop. There are so many places where you can get a cheap laptop these days ebuyer.com, dabs.com, countless other websites, computer fairs (though you should know what your talking about and check thoughly at these), manufactors direct sites (dell, hp etc). Laptop if you need to do some serious work as tablet might not be able to handle it. Accounting Help
