Never ending search to be even faster... BBC News - Google ramps up speed of search

Interesting as they are pre-loading the page associated with the top search result in the background confident that is what the user will click on.

Smart move.

Also interesting to see that Bing is creeping up in market share slowly but surely.

We could really use a true competitor for Google its such a shame that they have the monopoly and boy oh boy do they no how to use it. Do no evil! Yeah right.

Interesting to see big G making big publicity by concentrating on search, ie speed and quality, removing the spotlight from some of their side projects.

With no major rival, makes optimising and marketing alot easier

I think that no one beats The G here; but it;s nice to hear some competition, and doubted if the competitors can at least gain a mileage.

Thanks to Google, and i found this great forum. Google is a great search engine. I am loving it.

Its premature to say anything.
Although we all are in love with Google but you never know.

Possibly we will be having Big F's search engine in hands sooner or later.
