You are allowed to have backlinks in your signature provided you contribute by giving useful answers or asking genuine questions. Use it for you or your clients. But please don't waste forum space and our time by asking these questions to get more backlinks to show to your clients and get them top ; which is a kind of spamming. Instant ranking?... how can you get instant ranking? SEO is slow process and your sites can not show up near to the top position instantly.

There are ways but they are called blackhat.. These are spammy types of links. Although its not really instant its a lot faster than normally link building/seo, depending on your competition it can be instant. This is short term type of seo. Its for quick rankings. JamesK

Its for quick rankings.” And quick deaths if you're caught. I could go on and on, but the best thing to do is make sure that you are never caught on the wrong side of Google. SEO takes a LOT of time yes, but some sites may rank faster than others. It depends on the traffic the site gets and how many people link to it naturally. This is the actual definition of SEO (IMO): Optimizing and advertising a site that results in links to the site growing naturally. (naturally meaning people linking back to your site that are not employed by you). What Google primarily does is watch the natural growth of links to a site over a period of time. If it grows too rapidly, they have a look and if you have been found to violate any of their "rules", you end up with a little note in your webmaster tools dashboard, or if you're not using their tools, your site drops rank to the extent that you would have to go to the furthest most cobweb infested corners of the web to find your site... if you're lucky.
