Opening early versions of powerpoint

any ideas how to open a powerpoint file i believe circa 95 on my office 2007

Ask the suppliers of powerpoint (it'd give the staff there something interesting to think about)?

Do you know anyone who never throws anything away - including old PCs / software? Some geeks hold onto their software much longer than you'd expect.

Have you tried the obvious -searching on Google how open powerpoint [version X] or putting your question to an IT forum?

Thanks i have tried the downloads etc and all of the variations i could think of and the only conclusion i have come to is that there must be a file missing stopping it from opening, i am going to the old computer on Sat so i will look then. thanks anyway

Tried the old Powerpoint 97 Viewer? Supports PP95, Runs on XP, dunno about Vista or Win 7, but worth a try.
