hosting clients can stay with one hosting company for years,
to count the profit we need to know an average length of hosting-client relationship.
so it can be profitable for long period.
btw, there is the term "lifetime profit of an average client", it's not only about service companies, also can be applicable for all kind of businesses(for example, you can buy up to 5 cars from one dealer in 15 years, but they payed for ad to get you only one time).
