when i am looking for keywords to use is it better to check my competitors keywords and use them or use one of them free keyword suggestion tools coventryandwarwickshireseoandweb
From your question I take it you are viewing your competitors source code, but you still need to do your own keyword research. The reason is because you have no idea which keyword is bringing them leads and traffic. I'd start with doing a search on your competitors keywords as if you were a potential customer. If you're using 'G', notice if any competitors are showing up on the first page using the keywords they are using. If they don't show up, then you know the keywords they are using aren't working. It's not an exact science, but it keeps you from wasting time and money trying to rank for keywords potential customers aren't using to find your type of service. I've used SEO for some time and it can be frustrating. Keep it simple - look for your competitor's site in the organic searches for the keywords they are using, then look at the ppc/paid ads that show up for that keyword. If it's none of your competitors ads, then you know that isn't the keyword bringing them potential customers. GinaS
