I saw on the news this morning that the Presidential campaign actually started 2 years ago!?! So for a 4 year term, they now spend 50% of it campaigning for re-election
With the sheer amount of money involved, media frenzy and power plays behind the scenes by people with vested interests, you do wonder if the term "democracy" is getting a bit thin. Especially when we (the West) seem to criticise every other form of government.
Maybe it's time for the Queen to invoke the hidden clause that nobody knows about, where the USA lease expires and to take over, with Dr Ian as her right hand man
