Ahh reminds me of PC no-where  Maybe for home stuff, but security side of it would worry me if I was using it on production servers. "With TeamViewer you can remotely control any computer as if you were sitting right in front of it - even through firewalls. All your partner has to do is start a small application, which does not even require installation or administrative rights" Seems ripe for an exploit, or am I being paranoid  Whats wrong with good old RDP?

In Steves defence, I doubt all 60million are trusting it! How many of them have virus' or protected data on their machines? Thats 2 against, though a damn good find mate!
I'm just a grumpy old cynic Does look like an interesting tool though, if I get a chance, may download it and have a look. Be interesting to see how it performs against RDP going through an ISA server and a VPN, or anyone else already compared it? This is where we need Stavros, but unfortunately he's upto his eyes in pre-web launch testing

Thats 2 against, though a damn good find mate!” do anti virus really work. i dont bother. save a all i need to memory stick. probably get virus once every 6 months, i restore to factory, of and running again. had the od virus which when healed took code and could not get comp to boot up, had this half dozen times. do they really protect you. sean sean44mc |
