Alright, bit of light stress relief.
we all chat away about what we do at work, a good post is here about what we drive, or the best we have driven, good post.
so what do we do away from work, the comp.
so lets here your hobbies, apart from work and a computer, which are not allowed on this thread.
i will go first lol
My hobbie is fresh water fishing, co**** fishing. i love to fish the pole, got myself a 14.5m maver reality pole, fish that mainly, but always stick a carp rod out or two also, have 2 fishing permits, so always fish 3 to 4 rods. biggest fresh water fish, 27lb carp, biggest sea fish 39lb ling.
been fishing for 37 years now since i was seven years old, great way to destress. so if anyone is up for days fishing, give me a shout

I'm a knitter. My current projects-in-progress include two pairs of socks (handbag-sized knitting projects, great for dentist's waiting rooms), one lacework wrap made of a really nice bamboo/silk combination, and one massive fluffy shawl made of merino wool combined with kid mohair, which is shedding all over the sofa.
I'm also a blogger, but I'm trying to keep the blog and the business separate.

Sean - i fish very badly but have been a few times with my ex father in law - my brother lives on the coast so chuck a few lines with him occasionally and pull out the odd mackeral - a shame i dont fish more as the ex works for Leeda -could have got all the fishing gear i wanted a ridiculous prices - ah well!
Anyway my hobbies - used to have a 5000gallon carp pond but filled it in when i got divorced- used to play a lot of tennis whern i was younger but got injured & dont play anymore - spend time with my boys when i have them playing PS3 & Wii, football etc - damn just realised i dont have a hobby when im not with the boys - i need to find something ! - will read the rest of this post with interest to spark any ideas
Ah well, previously mentioned but my model railways and my bonsai.

Travelling, caravaning, love all things 4x4, though sadly do little off roading these days Nuts about trucks, hmmm Volvo F12... and fascinated by modern military history.
Not a computer in sight, unless for the odd strategy game or a bit of chess

Im also 4x4 lover, cant afford the expensive ones lol. But love the car i have now, frontera b series, 1999 lwb 2.2l. had it 2 years now, cost me
I'm a landie nut myself, used to have a SWB V8 90 until recently, which sounded fantastic, roared like a lion, plenty of power to weight for charging up hills, and used to do 12 miles to the gallon on the road and about 6 - 8 off roading
So now driving a much more sensible Nissan Patrol, which is bombproof, comfortable, leather seats, the heater works, and you dont get wet when it rains. Still not a landie though

Ive seen a few fronteras pully landie's out of sticky positions lol. Only saying that because the frontera is in the landie world of 4x4 off roading a poor mans land rover.
i think you had the better of the land rover, with the engine size. some of them im led to belive only have a 1.8 engine and have alot of head gasket trouble, probably the strain on a small engine for quite a big truck.

PS3, art and design, movies and Grand Designs, thats pretty much it, though when I go out its normally quite messy, like to 'ave it large!

Ahh the Rover V8 god rest its soul was an awesome engine, it soldiered on until killed by fuel prices and a huge carbon footprint LR have had some really awful engines over the years and they are famous for being underpowered and gutless, until the TD5 and later came along and readdressed the balance.
