Never really given this much thought to be fair, but with the invention of smart and touch screens mobiles have become unusable for the blind unless you had the Voice over apps

Thinking back to the old keypads, they had the dot on the 5 so a visually impaired person could navigate it but naturally you don't get that on an iphone.

My great uncle was blind and as a child was always fascinated by his ability to read braille, wonder what he would have made of these phones?

What a great idea and and a UK company

Looking on their website, and pretty clever, they specialise in simple straightforward customisable phones, so ideal for kids, older folks, and now obviously the visually impaired. Caption on the BBC website made me smile "The Braille phones come in a variety of different colours"

Really like the kids phone ideas, may have to look into this

Lmao - didnt see that.

Reminds me of one of the best snooker quotes of all time from the late great "whispering" Ted Lowe

" and for those of you who are watching in black and white, the pink is next to the green. "
