Millions hit by Microsoft cybercrime action

Interesting article from the BBC, seems Microsoft has tackled  cyber criminals head on by seizing control of 23 domains it suspects has been spreading malware.

Appears to have been a bit of collateral damage too with reports that millions of users may have been stopped from visiting some clean sites.

I'm all for a bit of proactive approach to stamp out malicious viruses, hope that the people affected by Microsofts positive move are of the same opinion, or would they rather have their machines full of bugs?
