I guess I will see if anyone of my friends knows a plumber otherwise I might do some cold calling So I have a website.. 15th October 2011 11:18 AM The thing with buying the site is true, but then again it would around the same price to buy it and to rent it out for the year. But as you said they would have to do the seo themselves unless they want to hire me or someone else for it. To be honest I don't know how much I would be able to get, but if i can sell it for enough, i can start up two new similar sites, and then do the same stuff with them. The renting side of it though, I would offer different options, like month by month, or pay for a certain period of time. I can see the month by month being the more liked option unless if I offered 2 months free if they sign up for a year. The renting would include my seo services so it would stay up there. Its a website for a plumber/plumbing company in a certain town, now its my website and I have done all the seo and what not myself, and it has recently hit 1st in google places, which im happy about. So its finally getting some traffic to the site and everything. Now I need to find a plumber or plumbing company who would like to either rent the site (my preferred choice) or buy the domain/site. As I have said before I dont have much experience with selling actuall stuff, I'm more of the techi person who knows what he does with a computer. Any suggestions where I could find the place/method to find someone to either rent or buy the site? Your Thoughts? 15th September 2011 5:15 PM Hi So I am currently setting up a local directory for the town near me, this directory will be for all businesses and services in and around the town. It will have free listings and premium listings. A free listing will be just the business name, address and phone number. A premium listing will have a lot of added benefits, such as pictures, website link, email link, discription box where they can post their sales pitch or about their business. twitter/facebook links. Able to post special offers or what not in the news section, also able to add info in the newsletter. This directory will aim to get customers and businesses to interact with each other, customers can rate and review services and businesses they have used. And business can post special offers/sales they have going on. Now I plan to rank on the first page for the search phrase "town" being the town of the directory, also some of the categories of services e.g. "restaurants town". Now I'm wondering would any of you pay for a premium listing in your local towns directory? I plan to ask |
