Well that's more than what I got from the other half.... she just says stay away as she considers me to high risk... Got a feeling she thinks she married Mr Beans brother... Thanks, Barney
If you talking about Central London I am getting annoyed too with that place .. I have been here since 1998 and in that time I have had 3 fines .. In the past 5 months I have gotten 2 because of idiot drivers ... I think this 1 I got because after waiting 3 yes 3 traffic light changes I eventually had to move and force my way in as others were getting pissed off behind me .. They do need to have some lenience at these traffic lights as it is impossible to move
“My next pet hate., Titled THE HOGGING OF THE LANES ON MOTORWAYS,AND SHOULD THERE BE TRAINING FOR MOTORWAY DRIVING
Time and time again the drivers in the centre lane and wont move back to the nearside, i hear theresis a review of this with big fines. The sooner the better its dangerous and holds up the motorway.your views please ladies and gents
John” On Thursday I went to Bradford I must say the amount of cars that just sit in the middle lane with disregard to anything behind is shocking and unsafe before car drivers go on motorways please observe the rules the sitting in the middle lane without moving over to the empty lane is unsafe and illegal learn the rules and be safe and be good to other drivers who are not allowed to use the overtaking 3rd lane If you don't know motorway rules don't use them, or take your time to observe the Highway Code I was driving a coach and not allowed to use the 3rd lane along with lorries I had to for safety 2 times to use it, I wasn't happy due to bad car drivers john Thanks, John
I add lorries can't use the overtaking 3rd lane car drivers can? Why do they hog the middle lane Thanks, John

If you are A professional coach driver like myself we are taught to drive the coach in a certain manner. Safety and comfort of passengers I am very careful due to the lack of other drivers non careful driving and lack of training, not many are as bad as I came across on Thursday I have a video camera for insurance reasons as it's cheaper if anyone cares to look at some of the terrible driving I come across in my daily routine your welcome to see it Thanks, John
“ I don't think it is possible to change peoples mindsets on which particular lane they drive in. Some will always drive in the outside lane, some in the middle and some in the inside... Not really sure that it is much of an issue, if you go on the M25 all 4 lanes are blocked at certain times of the day. From memory coaches and lorries were restricted to 60mph on a motorway, so the only people hogging the middle lane would be fellow coach drivers and truckers......What annoys me are 2 lane motorways such as the M11 and a lorry or coach decides to overtake the vehicle in front, which then takes around 10 minutes to carry the action out as the overtaking vehicle is doing around 2mph faster than the vehicle it is overtaking... subsequently causing a 3 mile tailback for all us van drivers...
![]() Remember lorries are limited to 60 mph so hard to just overtake like a car just incase you weren't aware Thanks, John

I don't mean to be offensive but as a professional driver I like to be very open and honest I went through 2 other tests to drive a coach Thanks, John
I think some of these lorries have got very dodgy limiters .. Had a few of them over take me while I have been doing 70mph ,scary stuff .. But what is worse are women driving these small cars just sitting in the middle lane doing 60 odd and refusing to budge , yes men too but they do get the hint after you cross 2 lanes to overtake then 2 lanes to go back again

Trouble is, UK wagons are actually physically limited to 56mph, which in reality means 56 for one and 58 for another. Which is why you will see a lorry taking ages to overtake another once it pulls out of its slip stream. Throw in a slight gradient, then any heavy trailers will start to slow down, which is why it is very frustrating to be overtaking a wagon, only to be blocked by someone poodling along oblivious to the 38 tonner in their rear mirror. Then you will get unrestricted wagons from Southern Ireland blasting past at 70mph, who are normally the worst culprits. When it comes to driving a coach or a lorry, you have to have very good forward planning and a sixth sense for idiots, which includes other wagon and coach drivers from various nations. But speed wise, you will rarely see a UK wagon speeding. Check the number plate when he goes by, bet it's Irish |
