Well when catty met ratty in the early hours of yesterday morning.... catty won Found this flipping thing at 4am on the front door mat..... Either a brave or stupid rat that ventures into my garden with 9 cats on the prowl.... I haven't got the heart to tell the new owners

Thanks,

Blimey - that looks like its huge!

My cat used to regularly bring me field mice in, alive, half dead or even headless but never a rat !

Clive

Its the second rat in 2 weeks I've encountered, not sure why as the local authority collect bins weekly here, so cannot complain at them. The 10 houses in our close, all have concrete floors at ground level..... I can only assume they are feasting on leftovers from neighbours bbq's ..... Use to see plenty of frogs and field mice here but over the last 12 years the numbers have dwindled.... But never any rats.... One things for sure, once we've moved the rat population will increase....

Thanks,
Barney

Don't they say you are only ever 6 feet from a rat in London? Or is that an urban myth?

Angela
My views & opinions are my own

I've heard anything between 6 and 10 feet, not just in London.

Got rid of them last year with help from local council.   Ex-neighbour couldn't be bothered to put bin bags out, just left them on patio.  Few letters and visits from council did the trick!
