I took a few pics with my iPhone yesterday of a storm that was coming in over the coast and hit us just after 4. Luckily it wasn't too bad, and faded out about 2 hours later. (The pics were taken from inside) [ATTACH]116[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]117[/ATTACH] We hardly ever get those dark purple/blue clouds, but Summer will be here soon, so I guess we might still. Couldn't really catch a flash of lightning or two either, I retreated to safety where I couldn't see them  Thanks, Dreamraven
You can't beat a good storm!! We don't get anything that exciting in the UK, other than rain! And oh how it rained this year  My town tends to get flooded out every few years, and there a bunch of businesses and homes who can't get any insurance. Luckily for me we're about 1/2 a mile from the river. Amazingly there were no floods this year, and 2010 was the last major one. Found some pics from 2007. Its a beautiful town  I'm too high up to be flooded out, usually if the water does get too much, it runs to the ocean, and leaves our beach in a state (I had pics of that at some point - not sure where they got to). Thanks, Dreamraven |
