It seems that Camden council is looking into moving those on benefits around different parts of the country, as they can no longer afford to house them at affordable rent. The thing is, if these people cannot find work down here there is little hope that they will find it up north either. Thanks, Barney

Leeds tenants (Hands Off Our Homes) are organising a fight back against the bedroom tax. ![]() There are legal challenges led by the Public Interest Lawyers against 5 London District Councils; I can't remember whether the action's against the Councils extending Council Tax liablity to everyone previously accepted as too poor to pay or against the bedroom tax.
