This all sounds like an accident waiting to happen. What do you think?

I saw this briefly yesterday, you beat me to posting about it

Going to be an interesting journey and insurers must be crunching some very big numbers as there is bound to be a few "teething" incidents.

Also be interesting to see how the cars develop as their are sensors everywhere, making the car ugly and not exactly streamlined for fuel economy.

its the future and I can't wait. Man is always resistant to change, just think of it as natural progression from horse and cart to car, and now driverless car. There was an outcry when cars first came out, now look at us.

Certainly going to be interesting in the near future!

So the what happens when your car gets hacked with the boy racer virus and you end up trapped in your motor while it's doing hanbrake turns and donuts

No doubt there will be a big red off button on the dash, leaving you stranded on the way home from the pub!

So now need antivirus for my lappie, phone, car, fridge..... time to buy shares in Norton AV

Will this mean the end of drink drivers? speeding tickets? talking on the phone whilst driving? Will women now be able to park correctly? Or will the computer just say No?

Thanks,
Barney

I imagine there will be some kind of hack eventually that will allow speeding, pretty much like you can override some speed limited vehicles....

Gues its a new avenue for the engine management chipping industry.
