Hello forum members,

I am from an organisation called Laughology. We are holding the first national happiness awards at the RBS building in London on 18th November 2016.

There are two categories for the business award:

  • Happiest Business or Organisation
  • Happiest Leader, Manager or Employee

The entrants will be judged by a panel of industry experts, including:

Sir Anthony Seldon
One of the country’s leading experts on happiness, and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Buckingham.
Ian Gilbert
A leading educational speaker and entrepreneur and a man who the IB World magazine named as one of its top 15 educational ‘visionaries’.
Gill White
Head of CIPD Training, and head of the Directorate of Knowledge and Capability.

5 reasons why being nominated or winning a happiness award can benefit your businesses and improve staff morale:

  • Free marketing and promotion
  • Say a massive 'thank you' to your team and build staff morale
  • Assessing your business
  • Have achievements recognised
  • Go to a swanky party! (OK, awards ceremony)

Do you have a happy workforce? Does your business go out of the way to make each day fun, enjoyable and happy?

Nominate now. Nominations close on 17th October 2016

You can search 'Laughology Happiness Awards 2016' for more information, or visit the awards page

Send me a message if you have any questions, or call us on 0844 800 1701.

Thank you for your time.

Hello Ina, welcome to the forums.

Well we used to have the grumpiest employee if that counts? Unfortunately his mantle has been taken by an even grumpier coffee shop owner, but our man Clive used to be Google Number 1 for Grumpy Clive

Now that's got to be worth a certificate, plus we have Jan and his humour contributions

Cant believe i lost my number 1 slot - now that is something to be grumpy about !!!

Clive

so this isn't like another of those award scams where it ends up costing you to be an entrant. the 0844 number makes me wonder.

Thanks,
Paul S

Hi Paul,

No cost. You nominate using the online forms. The only cost would be travel expenses if you won or were a runner-up and attended the awards ceremony. Hope that puts your mind at rest.
