I've had a bad back for the last month, in fact it's been so bad in the morning I've had to crawl out of bed. So someone in their wisdom decided we needed a new matress. A quick browse on the internet stopped on the John Lewis site, with loads to choose from decided to purchase one with lots of reviews, some bright spark decided we had a kingsize bed Made the payment online all went through fine, half an hour later the Halifax sent a text saying it had stopped the payment for fraud reasons. Phoned them up to confirm payment was genuine so they authorised the payment....However John Lewis said they no longer had payment, money was no longer in my account so many phone calls over a period of a week ended up with the order being cancelled and money returned to my account. Then re-ordered the damn thing again...It duly arrives on Friday so out with the old and in with the new and I spend the rest of the day looking forward to a nice nights sleep, got home around 7pm got the neighbours to give me a hand in getting it upstairs....Did it fit the bed? Did it heck Now need to renew the fitted wardrobes and buy a new bed....So have spent this entire weekend having verbal abuse chucked at me

Thanks,
Barney

And no doubt hurt your back taking it upstairs

tomsk

Dohhh!!!

Online security eh? Question is, does the new mattress do the job!

Had a thing through this morning from Royal Mail, looks like some tight git didn't put a stamp on something. So on the RM card, it says you can pay the owed
