Struggling to add people via business page?

Created a new thread for you.

Not sure I understand you. When you are accessing your business page, and you go to circles, beneath the Google search bar, do you not have the option "type a name"?


Or have I misunderstood?

I'm not sure why you can't do that.

I read through this post, and from what it says, you can add to circles and others can add your page to their circles.

On a Google+ business page you cant add people to your circles until they add you to theirs. I have no idea why they have made it like this seems crazy to me but that's Google for you.

Have managed to work it out at last - as a business you can add other businesses but not individuals!!

Dang, that's kinda silly though. How else are you meant to impress clients or prospective ones even?

We seem to have quite a few indidviduals adding us anyway so I'm presuming they can add you off their own backs. Not sure how they came across us though.

Once they add you to there circles you can then add them to yours.

The good thing is that you're gaining followers at least . Maybe you could build on that and give them info/vids to link to as well. Have them share more when they visit your profile?

Yeah that's the problem. Was watching an interesting webinar the other day where the guy said you could do it by offering something free for them to add you, a good eBook or something or adding them to your personal profile circles which he said makes them more inclined to add you to theirs. Once they are in your personal circles your business circles become more prominent to them and likely to add that to their circles as well. That was his theory but haven't tried it yet.
