I've already seen this take effect! With my Twitter anyway. I'll have to give the 'filter:images' command a try. I think you're right with Twitter jumping on the Pinterest success. Could see Facebook going the same way to be honest. Alan R
I found some more info from a twitter blog here that allows you to add filters to your images to make them look like an instagram. Thanks, Dreamraven
