Blinking cat! It brought a mouse in and let it go! We cornered it and I have caught many a mouse, but it snuck into a gap, I had a chance to grab it and instead shrieked as it squeaked hideously at me and looked into my eyes with a murderous glare!

I am not a girly girl and used to do mini beast hunting and pond dipping as a job (best job EVER by the way) so I am disgusted by my pathetic behaviour! It got behind the washing machine and so we pulled everything out and can't find it anywhere! It's ridiculous! GRRRRRRRRRR!

There's still no sign....off to buy a humane trap tomorrow! No doubt it'll cost an arm and a leg! I was thinking of trying to create one myself with a box and a Weetabix tonight. hahahaaaa I can't see it working somehow!

We get a lot of field mice, if they get brought indoors their kind of stuffed as they'll have 10 cats surrounding them. If their lucky I'll save them and let them go back in to the local fields. When I first moved here I use to find quite a few dehydrated frogs that had finally croaked it. Not sure why they arrived nor why they completely disappeared, it may have been that someone local had kept some tadpoles in a pond or something.

One of my cats thought her luck was in yesterday, not her fault though, she woke up from her morning nap to find a choice of lunch hopping along the garden fence Lucky for the pigeons the cat starting to wag her tail with all the excitement

Thanks,
Barney
