I think integration.

The Google + site has, in my opinion, taken the facebook interface and improved it visually. It's encompassed the +1 feature and buzz also, combine this with Google's search engine and I think it will become a massively powerful interface tool.

Twenty million plus members already and still growing.

It'll be interesting to see what Facebook do. I recently came across Facebooks FREE e-commerce facility and e-bay are purchasing magento. Interesting times ahead???

Definitely! We know social search signals are getting incorporated into search algorithm's, Googles now just upped the game play.

The growth of Facebook has been incredible, but it's seemed to struggle to be recognised as a viable business platform. Sure things like venues, pubs/bars restaurants and accommodation etc are pretty easy to capitalise on, but its harder for a non leisure/tourist type business. Can you see a furniture factory or a steel fabrication factory generating masses of FB likes? They will depend on good keyword results in the search engines.

Plus 1 has the chance to supplement and improve on businesses optimisation efforts, knowing its all going to feedback to the primary source of all their traffic, Google.

Whether Plus 1 will be seen as a maturer platform for business, rather than FB we will have to wait and see...

Maybe we will stick with FB for our social lives, and use Plus 1 in our professional lives? Who knows....

Well I already had my first buy 500 +1's for $99 offers. So the spammers at least are wasting no time in jumping on the band wagon.

The one feature on Google+ that is likely to change the way we use social media is the ability to simultaneously video chat with a group of friends. With the Google+ hangout feature, instead of having to call all your friends one at a time, a group chat can be started at no cost. While it as has always been easy to start one-on-one video chats on Gmail or Skype, Skype only allows group video calls for its premium users.

Hmm, looks like someone else has a similar viewpoint:

"The G+ user population will grow extremely fast, given the interest, Google
