"A US man charged with sending more than 27 million spam messages to Facebook users has turned himself in.

Sanford Wallace, who is known as the "Spam King", surrendered to FBI agents in California.

Prosecutors allege he developed a program that breached Facebook spam filters and lured users to submit their account details"

funny , but i 'd want to know how can he do these ,even with the programm?

Spammers should be nailed to a wall and left there, that includes all the clever people that actually write these apps, and the script kiddie wannabes that use them....

It's a shame we can't jail forum spammers!

It must be easy to clear out forum spam surely?

If I can think of ways to do it then it must be do able. I've never really used forums in the past but now I'm finding good stuff on them they seem to be making a comeback

Nahh, they've always been here, just used to be called BB's, usegroups, message boards, then forums

...and people think this social networking malarkey is a new thing!
