Target markets and social networks. Are you part of the party? or left in the cold.

I found an interesting post at mashable about which part of society frequents certain social networks. It has a demographic as well, but it sparked a question, with everyone on the social network buzz, are they sure they are where their target market is, and this post seems to answer that question.

More than 66% of adults are connected to one or more social media platforms, but who exactly are these people?

Interesting stats, particularly older users:
people 45 and older make up 46% of Facebook users.
