From all the above replies, I will take Google+Pages an under construction building, still worthwhile getting your business in there early

If you are in a fairly small niche market and not located in a city, I feel it is possible to get top spot (or near) on Google+ Local fairly quickly with just basic SEO.

In my experience though, the results achieved by this are mediocre. I get maybe 2 or 3 leads a week, which I suppose is not a bad return from a free service.

Harrys post is the proof that Google+ Local Pages works and that is a fact. According to Google ,73% of online activity is related to local content which is really interesting.

However Google+ Plus local pages are just born and just like a new-born baby will grow up but takes time. Business owners in the USA are already using it with great success (And I don

You get favouritism if you're based in a city centre for generic searches, so that tramples on a lot of small businesses.

However, it's definitely worth setting up just to help people who are trying to find your business through Google Maps. It's only half a days work if you do it right.

Or even less to set up if you ask someone who knows very well how to set up
