the down fall with customer service, is the one we all know, call centres being moved abroad. we all know the countries, so need to mention that

the second point which is my biggest rant, is that your talking to people, who have never stepped foot in the country, knows our culture or how we go about things.

one quick example before i go on. had TV and internet fault. Did the usual stuff we all know, unplug for so many seconds and and plug back in, to save time you tell them this, but because they are reading from a screen, they insist you do it again.

What we have lost is what i would call the named person. someone who's name you have, can talk to again and again.

i signed up to parcel force for our home delivery, got email from named person. have dealt with same person all the way through my contract so far. First class service, i even took time to email head office to say what a good job this person had done.

it went along way to helping my customer servce rep, also, she made a speacial help to help me out when i asked a question,

but most important, she had the knowledge of my contract history.

had many couriers contact me, but parcel force for me rocks. and my parcel force rep.

if your thinking about a courier, i will let you know who to contact, if you PM me.

In fairness to brave techiebods of any nationality - my partner and I get phoned up with all tech queries for our respective families, and if we had a fiver for every time we've had to trick someone who is insisting "of course it's properly plugged in!" to remove all the cables, put them all back, oh look it works again... we would be able to pay for our wedding already.
