Firefox does a great plugin to check specific links within pages.

All you have to do is download it and then when you visit a specific page the llinks are highlighted blue for do follow and red for no follow

Thanks for the tool

Handy, but slowed my firefox down to a crawl when I tried this a while

If you type link: and then your website's URL into google (no spaces between the colon and the website address) you can get a list of some links to your site. Apparently you can also find backlinks on google webmaster tools but I haven't figured out how to do this yet. will post on here when i've researched it.

I use Iwebtool as my backlink checker and its actually pretty good. Its easy to use and you can easily check the total backlinks of your domain.

There are different ways to check the back links. I am using SEO doctor. It is easy to use. I have complete knowledge about soe.

Looks like a pretty good tool but does it pick up all the backlinks or just a proportion of them?

Well from Google Webmaster tools, I show 1,710,729 links, and from this tool it says 32,353 but will only display the first 1000.

Still a handy tool though.

Yes, the numbers weren't matching on my Google webmaster account either but like you say it is a pretty useful tool. Saved to my favourites now.
