We did a trip round France in our Bongo before I had my daughter and it was my best holiday ever. So if you ever get there you'll love it!

I assume you have your breathalyser, triangles, hi vis jackets and spare bulbs all packed? I was amazed at all the requirements for driving in France. I'm sure you're clued up about that though.

...and if you've got to go through the Dartford Tunnel (or over the bridge!), they no longer take cash and you have to register before you set off, or at least pay by midnight the following day otherwise you'll get a fine!
