defo sounds like one for me.

Grumpy Old Friends is a social networking site that aims to stimulate debate and question conventional wisdom by providing a forum for strong opinions. It is a site that is not afraid to be controversial and allows a voice for those with experience and passion.

I just had a browse around. This looks like a really interesting site. Something with a bit more substance. Is it a US creation? Who's behind it? Anyone know?

I did check that out after I posted. I don't think it's a very active site. I posted comments the last time I checked it still wasn't published. I also find there is obvious way (published) to contact them.

I genuinely think they got a good things there, either it's brand new, or it hasn't taken off. But I know this would appeal to me more than the likes of Facebook...that's not me saying I am grumpty it's just the conversation seems to have a bit more substance and it's not full of teenage kids.
