Neighbours of 81 and 71 year old Iron Maiden fans were subjected to "Afraid to Shoot Strangers" on repeat play all through the night, night after night, from the balcony and basement. So, that's what they were listening to, but not through choice.

I must admit I was not impressed when I first heard this. It reminded me of an Earth, Wind & Fire 70s disco track. Now, I confess that it has really grown on me, I think it's referred to as an "ear worm".
