To be honest, I think I get most of my followers from different forum sigs..

enough said, I don't want to waste my time building another "interst" platform that is dependant upon me introducing my friends, family and customers in to a new forum that is wholly reliant upon a socialy constructed desire to be popular! Your popularity is then used by the owners to advertise with impunity, oh sorry that's face book. Either way no desire to use it at the moment. thumbsdown

Anyhow, done the weights, had my tea, on to the wine and I have had a realy bad day at work. But that is another story that will be told when I am sober..

Pinterest is a good platform for most B2C like maybe travel agencies or so, but I don't see how it could work for a B2B. Also I don't really understand the use of pinterest for marketing.

Pintrest is really very good tool for business promotion, because you can promote your business through images. Clipmark is also a good social site you can also promote your business through this web site.

Absolutely! It makes promoting your business a bit more interesting rather than blabbing on about something in five or six paragraphs, that no one is interested in.

Pinterest can be extra effective if you have an e-commerce site with great pictures for each of your products, as you can share these within Pinterest, with a link back to your product page!

I agree with one of the posts in here. I can't see a use for Pinterest in B2B marketing.

B2C is fine because you usually have a nice product to show off, which you can do with a pretty picture.

If you have a project management company or another company with an intangible service then what do you pin to your board?

I've thought about infographics to represent B2B business clients. But then would want to look at that and more importantly who would share that on Pinterest? What would that be achieving that posting on your own company blog wouldn't?

If you have a Facebook page, I'd also recommend getting the Pinterest for FB app - good way of cross pollination of traffic.
