Promotion on Pinterest is an effective way to attract traffic to your website but you need to be very choosy regarding photos you are going to upload; because eye catching photos get repins and comments.

Do you need to have a certain number of pins before the search engines start noticing your Pinterest boards? I've been surprised to see some of them (not mine unfortunately) ranking on the first page of Google. I suppose the topic also matters a great deal.
